INTRODUCTION TO THE BENSON (Transportation Provided)
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Join the Montgomerys for a stroll through Loveland’s Benson Sculpture Garden, home to more than 150 works of art and one of the area’s most beautiful and peaceful spots. It is a photographer’s dream, so bring your camera. Transportation will be provided from Erie and back, and there will be snacks and beverages (tail-gate style) before heading home. If our limited knowledge of the art itself isn’t enough to entice you, maybe Millie’s muffins will. Plan on being back in Erie four hours from start time. RAIN DATE: Saturday, May 18, at 1:00 PM.
(NOTE: This is the same event as Auction Item TD2 but includes transportation to Loveland).

PERSONALIZED ABC PHOTO BOOK
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
Wynn will work with you to develop a unique, one-of-a-kind gift for a special youngster in your life (child, grandchild, niece, nephew). Using a template/format developed for his own grandchild and your digital photos, Wynn will create a book that uses a special (for you) person, place, or thing to illustrate each letter of the alphabet. You can craft a personalized introduction, and if you don’t have appropriate photos for every letter, Wynn will use some of his “generic” pictures. The process will take at least a month, so Christmas 2019 is an unlikely target, but you could have a fantastic 2020 birthday gift. The auction price does NOT include the cost of the book itself, which will probably be $20-$40. Check it out with last year's satisfied customer--Jean Nuttall. 1 0 000100.0 100 .0005E7 50

Walden Ponds Bird Language Walk Over the past year, I have been working on documenting breeding birds at Walden Ponds, studying nature connection through the language of the birds and learning to bird by ear. I anticipate showing the group nesting sites from a variety of species. We will also use the concepts from Jon Young’s book “What the Robin Knows” to listen for alarm calls, contact calls, songs and more. Based on the interest in the group we can also explore the deeper concepts Jon teaches of awakening the ancient brain through nature connection practices. Event date is flexible.

Week in Seattle Condo We have a 1 bedroom + study with big deck in Seattle near the University District. There is a king sized bed bedroom, a study with a fold out couch and large screen TV (Comcast, Prime and Netflix included), complete kitchen, washer and dryer, WiFi available, with an enclosed garage parking space. The condo is steps away from the bus line with a direct route to LightRail which goes to downtown Seattle and the airport. The neighborhood boasts several good restaurants and coffee shops/bakeries. Several grocery stores, shopping centers and farmer market are a short bus ride away.

Limitations: Only the week of August 9th -16th, 2020 is available. There is a cat who lives in the condo. We will clean thoroughly and have wood floors and will take the cat away but if you are highly allergic, it probably will not work. You are welcome to use the locked garage space, but it is small so a compact rental is highly suggested.

College Admission/Affordability Advising Session
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
You don’t need to make like a celebrity and bribe your way to a great college choice! Let a seasoned advisor help you sort through the confusion and end up with college options that make sense for you and your family. After 15 years as an admission officer at Carleton College and Cornell University, and 15 years as a writer for the College Board on the topics of college affordability and financial aid, I have recently retired from my encore career as the college advisor at Longmont High. I love working with students and families and look forward to working with yours! While this session might be most appropriate for a current high school junior, I can also help sophomores make wise course selections, decide what to do about standardized tests, etc., or help seniors put the final polish on their applications, interpret scholarship and financial aid awards, consider a gap year, etc. We can schedule our session at a time and place convenient for you. 1 1 000075.0 75 .00025E7 25

Brew Your Own Kombucha Workshop
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Are you buying Kombucha at the store? Why not brew your own. It is incredibly cheap and easy to do. People from China to eastern Europe have been brewing kombucha for more than 2000 years. It is rich in probiotics and B vitamins, and is relatively low in calories compared to soft drinks or fruit juice.
At this Brew Your Own Kombucha Workshop we’ll sample some kombucha, both store-bought and home-brewed, and munch some light snacks. I’ll demonstrate the process and offer some pointers and advice based on 10 years of experience.
At the end of this workshop you will have everything you need to get started brewing your own kombucha including a healthy SCOBY (aka mother, mushroom) and starter liquid.

Starting at NCAR, Wayne Itano will lead a hike to visit various places of geologic interest around Boulder. Further discussion and examining Colorado Front Range fossils at the house. We meet at 8AM and should finish by 1PM, including brunch. The most strenuous part is the walk from NCAR up and down the hills to the Mesa Trail, and maybe partway up the Mesa Trail, then back. I would call this "Boulder moderate." It is steep in places. It's not like a stroll along a bike path. Neither is it like a scramble up Bear Peak. 8 0 000030.0 30 .00025E7 25 5/23/20 8:00 AM

Reading of the Cards

Ever want to have some fun with tarot cards but find them to be a bit too intense? Have you tried Earth Magic cards, Angel cards or Power Animal cards? Office Manager would love to do a reading with you using her Earth Magic / Angel / Power Animal cards! Taken in perspective, these are a lighter way to gain a bit of intuition into your life. You can ask her to help you "read" what you draw, you can read from the manual she will have with her, and/or you can draw your own conclusions - silently or out loud. All readings held in strictest confidence. Carol keeps her cards but photos can be taken. This is a relaxed way to try new cards out! 2 0 000025.0 25 .00015E7 15

One hour of therapeutic touch
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
The one hour of therapeutic touch will occur in my office. Based on the concept that health is represented by a balanced energy field, this ancient form of laying on of hands supports the body to come more into balance. During the session you will rest fully clothed on a massage table while I work primarily off the body. The most noted benefit is one of relaxation. As a former massage therapist I have practiced this healing art for over 30 years and I would be delighted to help ease your stress. 1 1 000110.0 110 .0005E7 50
