OH, THE PLACES WE WERE (Movie and Dinner) Your invited back in time to a classic that still resonates today in keeping with “Oh, The Places We’ve Been” theme of this year’s auction. Last year we watched "Crash" as an example of a movie that expressed the “Way We Are” culturally. This year we invite you to.. Yes, it may very well be "The Way We Were." As March approaches, my yearning may be for "Splendor in the Grass." Whichever marvel is exhibited, come indulge in how we were informs how we are after feasting on sumptuous delights and imbibing inspired revelations from the Screens of Us. 2 0 000025.0 25 .00025E7 25 3/23/19 6:00 PM

Hike to Machine Falls in Short Springs Natural Area Short Springs Natural Area is a hidden gem situated between Tullahoma and Manchester, Tennessee featuring a variety of trails and waterfalls, this area is becoming increasingly popular.

Springs is one of the very best spring wildflower locations in the state. In the spring, moist slopes are covered in trout lilies, Virginia bluebells, jack-in-the-pulpit, larkspur, and Dutchman's breeches. Large flowered trillium, southern red trillium, and barren strawberry are uncommon plants for Middle Tennessee that occur here. The natural area also supports two state-listed endangered plant species, Nestronia and broad-leaved bunchflower.

This biological diversity is related to the rich forest slopes and ravines, low cascades, springs and waterfalls that support it. Scenic features like Machine Falls drops more than 60 feet and is nearly equal in length across.

The total loop distance for Machine Falls, Busby Falls and Adams Falls is only 3.05 miles, making it a great hike!
Transportation, water, lunch and guide (me) will be provided.
