Rare 1943 chairside radio table
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
In 1942 Philco had a contract to provide car radios for Chrysler. With the bombing of Pearl Harbor the US auto industry shut down, and Philco re-purposed its inventory, rewiring the 6-volt units for A/C power and installing them in stylish solid Walnut side tables. Craig, whose lifelong passion had been saving and curating early 20th century radios and televisions, has restored this lovely period piece to be fully operational. The table is in very good condition. 1 1 50 20

Starting at NCAR, Wayne Itano will lead a hike to visit various places of geologic interest around Boulder. Further discussion and examining Colorado Front Range fossils at the house. We meet at 8AM and should finish by 1PM, including brunch. The most strenuous part is the walk from NCAR up and down the hills to the Mesa Trail, and maybe partway up the Mesa Trail, then back. I would call this "Boulder moderate." It is steep in places. It's not like a stroll along a bike path. Neither is it like a scramble up Bear Peak. 8 1 30 25 5/25/19 7:00 AM

PERSONALIZED ABC PHOTO BOOK
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Wynn will work with you to develop a unique, one-of-a-kind gift for a special youngster in your life (child, grandchild, niece, nephew). Using a template/format developed for his own grandchild and your digital photos, Wynn will create a book that uses a special (for you) person, place, or thing to illustrate each letter of the alphabet. You can craft a personalized introduction, and if you don’t have appropriate photos for every letter, Wynn will use some of his “generic” pictures. The process will take at least a month, so Christmas 2018 is an unlikely target, but you could have a fantastic 2019 birthday gift. The auction price does NOT include the cost of the book itself, which will probably be $20-$40. Check it out with last year's satisfied customer--Jean Nuttall. 2 1 100 50
