| Magical Mystery Tour (Reprise): An Afternoon at ComFest |
Turn up and tune in with past Board Chairs David Easter and Steve Abbott for another afternoon at ComFest, the alternative political & cultural festival that annually creates Three Days of Peace and Music in Goodale Park on the last weekend in June. Last year's participants still testify to the consciousness-raising that took place. Bring your brightest tie-dye and your love of music, art, counter-cultural alternative media, politics and fellowship. All ages welcome. You can wander the park's Street Fair, music stages and exhibits at your leisure, but we'll stake out your crash-pad on a blanket in the shade. | Qigong for Relaxation |
Relax! Combine breathing, energy movement, and visualization. Brief introduction to qigong, preparatory exercises, guided visualization. Prior experience helpful, but not needed. Wear loose-fitting clothes. Bring a pad to lie on, a small pillow (bean-bag best) to support your neck and head, a towel to support the backs of your knees, and a blanket. Eat lightly prior to session. Session (about an hour) will be held (NEXT WEEK) on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10 am (prompt) at UU Church in Room 7.
