We will transport a group of 4 to our rustic (no indoor plumbing) retreat on Michigan's beautiful AuSable River. Leave Columbus Saturday morning Aug. 11 and return Tuesday evening Aug. 14. Our trip is timed this year to cover the peak of the annual Perseid meteor shower on Aug. 12 and 13. This year's shower coincides with a new moon, so if Mother Nature cooperates and gives us a clear sky, it should be quite a show. If not, there's always swimming, tubing, canoeing, reading, eating, hiking, lying in the hammock, etc.

Enjoy browsing in antique shops, but never sure if you're getting a good deal? Spend a day with other antiquers and a semi-expert. Trip will include a dutch lunch stop in Amish country, and browsing in small shops and the antique mall in New Philadelphia.

Have you ever roared down the highway on a Harley-Davidson? Have you ever ridden with a group of 50-100 riders feeling the highway and the outdoors? The 4-5 hour ride will be on a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, full dresser motorcycle during an official Harley Owners Group, HOG, ride in the spring/summer of 2007. Ride includes: Pick up at your home, guidance on proper safety and ride etiquette, Harley T-Shirt, HOG ride, brunch with fellow riders.

Choose your favorite four from activities like miniature golf, go-kart ride, bumper cars, arcade, and the batting cage. Pizza and pop top off a fun-filled day. School-age children, youth or adults welcome. A mutually convenient date to be arranged.

Friday dinner and Sat. and Sunday breakfast are included in the package. We'll take the train excursion through the Cuyahoga National recreation area, antiquing and going to the famed Westside Market in Cleveland and who knows what else?
