On an evening in December to be decided by the 8 highest bidders, show up with 3 dozen identical cookies, go home with a variety of 3 dozen cookies. We'll organize and host the cookie swap at our home in South Burlington.

I will make homemade granola, including ingredients that you love, to make it special for you!
My recipe uses vegetable oil, maple syrup and oat. The rest is up to you.

Join us for a tasty brunch featuring homemade small dishes and refreshments made with our own Burlington backyard honey. After the meal, we'll gather for an interactive backyard Beekeeping Basics workshop, featuring a Q&A and hands-on inspection of our hives. Each attendee will receive a jar of delicious raw honey from our bees.

Join Julielyn, with 20+ years working in the national political movement as she gives a brief overview of what's at stake, some key progressive organizations that are doing important work around civil rights, ways that we can all get involved and does your best to answer questions. Notes + book recommendations will be shared with attendees. Light refreshments will be served. (Note: topics will NOT include the presidential race, but instead federal issues, state legislative battles, and issues around immigration, LGTBQ+ rights, healthcare, etc)

Dust off your inner "guy" and let's burn some testosterone: this is a father/son, they/they, guy-wanna-be, roll-up-your-sleeves buddy night (not limited to males.) We will meet at Pizza 44 around 5:30pm, get some pizza (everyone pays their own way), then head over to Palace 9 in South Burlington to watch "Ford Vs. Ferrari" -an acclaimed high energy, fast paced buddy movie about America's Ford automobile corporation trying to beat performance car maker Ferrari at their own game--The 24 Hour LeMans. This will be a fun, upbeat night for young and old. Note: Date & time might adjust depending on the cinema's schedule for this film. Your $1 reserves a space and benefits FUUSB.

This is a group babysitting night like we for our Valentine's Day fundraiser. You drop off your kids at 5:30 P.M., we feed them dinner and keep them entertained until 8:30 P.M. while you get in some adult time.

Do you know how many labyrinths there are in Chittenden County? Neither do we! However, we can introduce you to some of them. Join members of the Labyrinth Ministry for an afternoon of labyrinth visits. We will visit three local labyrinths and have refreshments at the end. Includes different types of labyrinths, guidance about walking labyrinths as well as the benefits of this form of meditation. Saturday, June 6th from 1-4pm (with June 7th as a rain date). All ages welcome. Donated by the Labyrinth Ministry.

In your home a lesson in the fundamentals of Japanese flower arranging which can be used for any arrangement . Your choice of Basic Upright or Basic Slanting. I'll provide flowers and the container and the kensan(frog) which will need to be returned when the flower have gone by. Some printed materials will be provided plus some relevant websites. This is a Buddhist view on arranging flowers.

Kick off spring by coming to taste the last 4 Italian Reds from my 2013 VSO raffle winnings. We'll have anti-pasto, (sans meat), to balance the wines. Never had any of these, but they are all at least 10 years old. Come early. We'll host 6 guests.
