Glorious Women Never Age
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
I chanced upon Dr. Christiane Northrups' presentation on PBS several months ago and thought it would make a good auction item so I sent in my contribution and got her DVD. An afternoon showing will be accompanied by appetizers and drinks and conversation.

A leading authority in the field of women's health and wellness, Dr. Northrup has combined her research from several fields into seven steps that every woman should take in her journey to getting older---without aging. You will learn the secret of longevity and how to practice it every day; why you need your "tribes"; how to integrate pleasure rituals into your daily life, how to improve your balance in one week, and much more. Please join in on a fun and informative afternoon.

Beer and Hymns at The Wayfarer
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Did you grow up singing hymns in church? Even if you don't still believe everything you were taught there, you might enjoy singing "Rock of Ages", especially in a crowd and with a beer in your hand. Beer and Hymns is a band who lead hymn singing, new and old, with projected words so you don't have to know the lyrics. No preaching, just singing. And drink, and dinner if you want. Judith and Barbara will get you in and buy your first drink, alcoholic or non-. What a great way to finish the Sabbath! www.wayfarercm.com/

Brunch & Madama Butterfly
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
Meet at the Loughrey's and enjoy a wonderful brunch before going to the movie theater to enjoy a live performance of Puccini's Madama Butterfly by the Metropolitan Opera The title character of Madama Butterfly—a young Japanese geisha who clings to the belief that her arrangement with a visiting American naval officer is a loving and permanent marriage—is one of the defining roles in opera. The story triggers ideas about cultural and sexual imperialism for people far removed from the opera house. The lyric beauty of Puccini’s score, especially the music for the thoroughly believable lead role, has made Butterfly timeless. 8 0 000040.0 40 .0002E7 20 4/2/16 8:15 AM N N
