Hero's essential accessory
Invalid Image LinkSold

Alan Quatermain had one, using it deep into the jungle night to write in his diary. Captain Nemo kept one in the chartroom of the Nautilus and used it to plot his course to Antarctica. Sherlock Holmes had one on his desk where he poured over clues into the wee hours to solve some of the world’s most perplexing intrigues. Now you can join this elite brotherhood with one for your own private corner of the world. It’s base hand-fashioned out of now-extinct Sunnyhill oak, this desk lamp has been whisked straight out of the 1800’s to flood your desk or bedside table with the aura of heroes. Perfect for reading adventure novels that take you back to those more exciting times before transistors and video games, or even penning the next riveting entry in your own journal, this one-of-a-kind piece will never be duplicated. Its warm glow can even be dimmed as the need arises. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a hero in your own right by owning this bit of legend. (There is a reserve on this item - one hero in particular wants it badly, so you need to beat her price.) 1 0 000000.0 1,000,000 .0005E7 50

Civil War Battlefield Tour - Antietam or Gettysburg Paul Lawson, long time Civil War history aficionado, will take your group of two to six on a day trip of either the Gettysburg or Antietam (south of Hagerstown) battlefield. Both trips will include a picnic lunch. Paul is experienced in engaging both history buffs and their family who are not into military trivia with personal and political insights as well as enjoying beautiful natural vistas.

Gettysburg - turning point of the war (along with the fall of Vicksburg, MS). Trip includes short visits to Chambersburg and Carlisle.
Antietam (Sharpsburg) - the victory which allowed Lincoln to issue the Emancipation Proclamation. Includes short visits to Harpers Ferry (in my opinion the prettiest place east of the Mississippi River) and South Mountain.
This trip is for a minimum of two and max of six.
