The Alliance, a TVUUC social and service group, is donating $100 Three Rivers Market gift cards for purchase in the auction. Winner may pick up his/her gift card at the TVUUC gift card table on any Sunday morning. This donation is made possible by the annual Alliance book sale fundraiser every February. As a result of this book sale, the Alliance has made several purchases and upgrades for TVUUC over the years. The Alliance meets monthly for a presentation/discussion and potluck lunch. New members are welcome.

Would you like to learn to make your own earrings? Barbara Kemper
and Roy Kersey will give a Thursday afternoon workshop on making earrings. We will have tea (or coffee) and various goodies and learn to make earring using wire and various beads, found and recycled objects and other tidbits. Participants will leave the workshop with at least one pairs of earrings they have made. Tools and supplies will be provided along with tea and snacks. Workshop will take place at TVUUC.

The annual Ribs on the Grid Iron tailgate at the Horton's must go on. Join us for whiskey cocktails, our famous spicey bourbon pecans, Don's bodacious bourbon-basted barbecued ribs and all the fixins, while we rally around the big screen to watch the Volunteers play Georgia Tech.

Regardless of the winner a good time is promised for all.

Join the Kyriazis-Sochacki family (Justin, Stephanie & Jasper) for a selection of shareable plates featuring summer’s seasonal bounty. Enjoy homemade pita bread with a variety of vegetarian Mediterranean dips and spreads, plus salads and some meat dishes. Most recipes come from Ottolenghi’s many delightful cookbooks, and some ingredients will come from Stephanie’s garden. Preliminary date is August 8 at 6pm, but it can be adjusted to suit the attendees.

Join the Davis family on their porches and patio for a traditional Turkish breakfast. We will recreate the morning meal ala Istanbul including Turkish tea, or chai. We guarantee good company, good food, stories, photos and artifacts from travels and living abroad. 10:30am - 12:30pm.

Neil will recreate the cassolet that was the most popular of our 2021 Chilis of the World Auction Dinner. This cassoulet is his version of the one out of five tested in France. Our menu includes duck/chicken/sausage/pork Cassoulet; French green salad, rustic bread; fruit tarts; French wine; cranberry paloma cocktails.
