Come for a leisurely stroll through the extensive gardens at Wolf Creek Lodge - the senior cohousing community in Grass Valley. The gardens include areas of flowers, shrubs, trees and vegetables. All are grown using natural fertilizer with sustainable and environmentally aware gardening practices. There will be lots of opportunity for questions and explanations. | Snow Shoe Hike |
| Guided Snow shoe hike about an hour's drive from UUCM, probably somewhere around Donner Summit. We provide the snow shoes and poles, if required. Some physical fitness necessary (e.g. comfortably able to hike 5 miles on a normal, no snow, trail). We will accommodate both first timers and experienced explorers. Very weather dependent.
