Introduction to Pickleball-Poster
Are you curious about the pickleball craze and would like to learn more? Join us at Brunswick Forest in Leland for a two-hour introductory lesson. We'll cover court safety, rules of the game, scoring and basic strategy of play. Light refreshments will be provide after we play. Tennis sneakers or court shoes are suggested. You do not want something like cross trainers or running shoes that have too much tread.
Meet at Beth and Gary's and bring your bikes. We'll ride on quiet roads and bike paths 5 miles to Wrightsville Beach. After a light smack at the beach we will return to Beth and Gary's for wine and cheese.
Learn about the edible and medicinal plants that grow in you neighborhood! Includes ethical harvesting, plant identification and ideas for how to use plants. The walk will be about 1.5 hours.
