Classic and Quaint “Fox and Geese” Game in Charming Basket Actually two-games-in-one! “Fox and Geese”, the traditional folk game of strategy, uses one side of the high quality wooden game board, or flip it over to play checkers! The fox and geese playing pieces are beautifully detailed in cast and painted resin. When not in use, the whole set stows away in a lovely woven basket, with leather handles and the game board as the lid. The game has never been used.
Note that a few of the geese pieces have been broken and repaired (almost invisibly). Not for young children, as some parts are fragile and could present a choking hazard.

1/2 Grass Fed Natural Lamb Meat
Invalid Image LinkSold

Grass fed natural (not certified organic) 1/2 small lamb. 10-15 pounds (think about how much space a turkey this size takes up for space in your freezer.) Cuts you receive: Stew cubes, Lamb Roast, Lamb Shanks, Rack of Lamb, Leg of Lamb, Lamb Chops, Liver/Kidney/Heart (there is only one set of these so depends on who it is split with who gets these.) These lambs are raised on grass and mother's milk. No hormones or antibiotics. All Animals are treated humanely.
This breed of sheep is leaner than the "normal' lamb found in supermarkets, and thus is healthier (for all parties) and better tasting (does not have that "game-y/lamb-y taste!). This will come already cut, wrapped and frozen.

Antique (1800's) family quilt from Mary Jaffe
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
This quilt was appraised in 2006 and was valued at over $1200! It was donated by a former member (deceased) Mary Jaffe who had stated that it was made sometime in the late 1890's and is comprised of remarkably still vibrant pieces of cloth and surrounded by a rich maroon velvet border. There are a number of various decorative stiches used throughout the quilt. The backing is a black and white gingham pattern. The border and backing are clearly a somewhat recent addition. It is approximately 5'-6" x 7'-1" so it would be perfect for a single bed but because it so lovely, it would make a wonderful wall covering. 0 001200.0 1,200 .005E7 500

Monty's Musings Book by Monty Berman

MONTY’S MUSINGS
NOTE: The cover is attached---well worth seeing.
To muse is to introspect, contemplate, self-examine, mull over in one’s mind.
In these Musings, with pith and succinctness, Monty Berman shares his insights and perspectives related to the inner life as well as to the world around us. They range from two-liners to full pages, and include his Musings on Meditation.

Collected over the past five years, MONTY’S MUSINGS has a strong focus on self-awareness and mindfulness, i.e., being in touch with our on-going experience of the moment---and from this awareness, coming to know and, thus, understand ourselves more fully and more deeply---leading to a more satisfying be-ing and behaving. In particular, a number of the Musings promote our recognizing that while we have a mind, we are not that mind---the significance of this being that it can release ourselves from the all-too-common experience of being run by our minds, being at the mercy of what the mind unceasingly generates, which includes much of what can serve us along with much that definitely does not serve us. 45 pages
