| Hike and Picnic at George Childs Recreation Area | The George W. Childs Recreational Area, restored and reopened in 2024, is the site of a number of beautiful cascade waterfalls along Dingmans Creek. This picturesque park is a part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational area and includes expansive hemlock groves and photo-worthy waterfalls. The trail is a well-maintained 1.8 mile loop and is good for all skill levels. An ample box lunch will be provided to eat in the picnic area following the hike.
