Join Nancy and Chris for a hike up Flat Top Mountain at the Peaks of Otter. It’s a six-mile hike (round trip) with an elevation gain of 1600 ft, recommended for experienced hikers. Along the way, we will identify the variety of wildflowers that flourish in this area. A hearty lunch will be provided at the summit. We will meet at 9am and carpool to the trailhead, returning to the meeting location around 2pm.

Come and join us for a relaxing afternoon at Smith Mountain Lake. Plan to swim, kayak, paddle board if you like. Can also use the hot tub. We will plan a boat ride as well, so bring your bathing suits and a towel. Will plan to eat about 5:30 pm: hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey burgers, or veggie burgers with side dishes. Will furnish beer, wine, ice tea and water. Homemade ice cream for dessert
