Tim is offering an adventure for our children and grandchildren (limited to 5 children, aged 5 to 11). The kids will visit Tim’s horse barn, Healing Strides of VA, in Boones Mill. They will learn how horseback riding helps children with disabilities. They will meet Tim’s horse; see an educational film about therapy horses; learn about different breeds of horses, how to lead and groom a horse, and how to put on a saddle and bridle. Each child will get to ride with assistance. Snacks and lunch will be served. The children will be supervised by Tim. Children with disabilities are welcome!
