Bringing Us Together through Poetry: A Poetry Tea for Our Time

 We will provide poems that have the power to take us into the experiences of people who are very different from us--and if you have favorites that do the same, please bring them. We will especially focus on the poems of our poet laureate, Joy Harjo, the first Native American to be Poet Laureate of the United States! We will say the poems and savor them, first in small groups, then together. And in the intervals of savoring poetry, we will savor delicious munchies created by Barb Sterling.
