"The BIG 4-0! Anniversary Auction Gala" 2025 Goods and Services Auction

THIS YEAR IS CUUF'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY! We're celebrating with an auction gala! Join us for the party, Saturday, Nov. 1, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Begin bidding on silent auction items while enjoying delicious food and beverages. Live auction at 7:00. Some items will only be available on Opening Night including a raffle for fabulous prizes. Purchase homemade and handcrafted items for $10 or less.

The silent auction continues until Sunday, Nov. 16 and ends with a Last-Bid Continental Breakfast from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with bidding closing BEFORE the service at 10:15.

Here are some suggestions from other UU Auctions around the country to get you thinking about possible donations for our auction in November!
    Activities and Excursions
    • Gathering for games such as cards, dominoes, charades, etc.
    • Guided bike ride
    • Tour of an interesting business followed by social time
    • Tour of a favorite place (art, garden, county, something unique --nearby or day trip)
    • Birdwatching at the Horan Nature Area.
    • Combination meal and program/speaker/activity with educational value
    • Nature excursions of your interest and design
    • Morning visit to a farmer’s market, followed by a cooking lesson
    • Historical walking tour
    • Apple or other fruit picking, followed by pie baking
    • Creating a food tour of several ethnic eateries or taco trucks
    Dinners and Anything Related to Food
    • Piano music or other entertainment at home dinners
