The yearly compass We will gather early in the new year to work through a reflective, intentional, and hopeful process. The yearly compass guides participants in reviewing their last year, practicing gratitude and looking forward to the new year ahead.

Instead of the tired resolutions, learn from your mistakes, celebrate your victories, and set out a path you want to walk on.

We will gather as a group and work independently and also be able to share our thoughts and hope for 2026.

Yes, you could do this on your own, but it is so worthwhile to gather as a group. Youll leave feeling refreshed and positive for the year ahead!

Bromley and Brynlan's Witches Walk!
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Join Bromley and Brynlan for classic fall festivities, a witches walk obstacle course, and a pizza lunch!

Arrive dressed as a witch or warlock and get ready to participate in fall-favorite challenges: Cider-donuts on a string, broom races, bobbing for apples, blindfolded-sensory guessing games, jack-be-little pumpkin hunt, gourd throws, and an opportunity to make your very own witches brew with cider and an assortment of spices. We will have a pizza lunch and make s'mores over the fire pit.

This is a family friendly event centered around children. However, this is in no way exclusive of adults without children. All are welcome to join in the fall camaraderie and spend time with our youngest MUUF members! 40$ per family, 20$ per adult.

Note: There will not be a rain date. If our event is cancelled due to poor weather forecast, each family will receive an autumnal prize pack later in the month!

MUUF's very own Spelling Bee
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Join us, right after service, for, perhaps the first in MUUF's history, SPELLING BEE!

There will be prizes and bragging rights! Cheering IS REQUIRED!

In a world of spell check, let's test our spelling chops and utilize the stage in Chu Hall! There will be 3 spelling bee competitions: Adults, Kids, and Nonsensical.

Participants will line the stage for their chance to spell a variety of words starting at an easy level and increasing in difficulty for each subsequent round. If you spell a word correctly, sit back down and wait for the next round. If you spell incorrectly, help yourself to donuts and coffee and join the cheering crowd.

AND...If spelling intimidates you, this is your chance to enter the most ridiculous spelling bee: the nonsensical bee- where the words don't exist, aren't real, and are simply made up. There is zero expectation, but there will be a winner.

No origins, definitions, or parts of speech will be provided...(we aren't that serious).

Price is to participate and/ or to attend. Children are free.

Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
What’s that you say? A book club that will only meet once? Yessiree! Let’s come together on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 2:00-4:00pm, and talk about Orbital by Samantha Harvey, the Booker Prize winner for 2024. Book talk, light refreshments, and 8 Fellowship folks will make up The One and Done Book Club 2026.

The book:
Orbital by Samantha Harvey, the winner of the Booker Prize 2024, chronicles a day in the life of six astronauts aboard the International Space Station. They are there to do vital work, but slowly they begin to wonder: what is life without Earth? What is Earth without humanity?

Profound and contemplative, Orbital is a moving elegy to our environment and planet.
