Come Fly With Me
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Experience a flight in a small (Gabor does mean small!) two-seater Cessna 150 airplane. See your house, the Water Gap, the Fellowship, foliage, flowering trees, and more from approximately 2000–3000 feet. The plane has dual controls so you can get some hands-on experience, but let Gabor do the landing, please! Departure is from Somerset Airport in Bedminster.

Date TBD and of course subject to weather. But winners will get their flights EVENTUALLY ....

Biscotti Tree
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
I have been making this edible biscotti tree since the mid-seventies for my family. It became particularly relevant when I married a Jewish man. In the true Judeo-Christian tradition, the tree reflects a Christian symbol; but as you pick off and eat the biscotti and look down the center of the tree, you see a Star of David. It is a great addition to your holiday dessert table, and biscotti will last at least a week – longer if you dunk it in coffee or tea. I will deliver it to the Fellowship on December 23 or 24 or when the buyer wants it. 1 1 .00025E7 25

A Day with Friends at Luna Parc
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Gather in Sandystown, New Jersey (approximately a 1-hour drive from the Fellowship) to discover and explore Luna Parc, which is described on their website https://www.lunaparc.com as a "private home and studio of madcap artist Ricky Boscarino." The grounds are interesting, but the house is the real star. This is a rain-or-shine event.

If weather is good, Gabor and Marjorie MAY offer a ride from the Fellowship in a Miata 2-seater sports car (2 cars available) for an additional donation. Winners may make carpool arrangements. The estate is close to Peters Valley, so there will be an opportunity to explore that as well.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection as well as water. The date is tentative and subject to change depending on weather, other events, etc.

David's Model electric train tour and Movie matinee
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Have you ever wanted to ride the Orient Express or drive a train that’s over 100 years old? You can do both, sort of. When you visit David Landau's antique model electric train collection you can run 19 trains and 5 trolleys (but not all at the same time) ranging from a 1916 model to one as new as 2019. Enjoy some wine & cheese as you learn a little history of electric model trains and enjoy sending them through caves, around a working drive-in movie, past a film studio backlot, through Area 51 and more as you do a "scavenger hunt." Then relax and watch the Alfred Hitchcock thriller "The Lady Vanishes" (which all takes place on a train) in David's cozy condo movie theater. Desserts from the places the Orient Express passes through will also be included (and popcorn!) See also MM12. 4 4 .00035E7 35 10/30/23 7:00 PM
