Do understand this is a worker run, family egg production collective and the short days of winter are the traditional time that hens vacation from egg laying, Thus, exactly how many eggs are available on auction night will depend on how many hens feel so moved as to leave vacation and lay. On auction night, you'll receive a basket with either a dozen actual eggs and two coupons for a dozen more each or a basket with less than a dozen and three coupons. Saturday morning, you have individual options like the wonderful North Asheville Tailgate Farmer’s Market on the nearby UNC Asheville campus, along with the adjacent Botanical Garden; the Montford Music & Arts Festival; or free strolling Asheville shops and sights.
