Wine and Divination
Invalid Image LinkInvalid Image Link
Since the Dawn of Consciousness, Humankind has sought to catch a glimpse into the future. We have devised many methods to achieve this, with many failures but sometimes with coincidental successes, accidental successes, and legitimate bona fide "I have seen the future!" successes.

Please join us in a glass of wine or two to aid our foray into the unknown, murky future via "scrying," a method of divination through a fire/water/crystal meditation.

Bring a recording device or pen and paper. I will supply the rest.

This is a goal setting meditation. Come prepared!

(This is not the production that was recently on TV.) There will be subtitles and props so you can be an interactive audience, just like at midnight showings. Not for the demure or feint-hearted. Definitely, lots of fun especially with the camaraderie of other UUs. No costumes needed but welcome. Come do the “Time Warp”!! (You’ll be out and on your way home before 10, singing all the way!) 8 2 000070.0 70 .0003E7 30 12/4/16 6:00 PM

SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE OPERA

Come see my favorite production of Carmen: the classic 1984 film version starring Placido Domingo and Julia Migenes-Johnson which has won many awards and been nominated for many more. The film was shot entirely on location in the Andalusia region of Spain. Bizet’s Carmen is on everyone’s list of best/favorite operas and it’s great viewing for longtime opera aficionados and newbies as well. Come for Spanish drinks, appetizers, entrée and dessert. Great opera and camaraderie too! 8 0 000060.0 60 .0003E7 30 4/23/17 5:30 PM
