 Thousands of people travel to Zion National Park to do the famous creek walk, but you can do the same right here in Essex County's South Mountain Reservation. A stretch of the West Branch of the Rahway River flows normally about a foot deep over a rocky bottom through beautiful forest. Come hike through it in early summer! I will supply walking sticks to help balance. Wear sturdy, closed toe shoes.
