Guided tour of a ghost town in Northeastern New Jersey |

Did you know there is a ghost town very near that you can tour free? It's located in Watchung Reservation in Union County. It’s called Feltville and was founded by a Unitarian! The combination general store and church is open, and you can view several workers' houses – most of which are, alas, in serious disrepair. We will visit the cemetery and ruins of a dam and mill, too. If interested, you can continue on a moderate hike through the reservation to a geological wonder – a hanging rock. Great for history buffs and beautiful hiking, too. $7 per person; max $20 per family. |
