Authentic Jewish Dinner
Invalid Image LinkSold
Invalid Image Link
This is a dinner for 6 (hungry) people, to be delivered to your gathering - an authentic Jewish dinner, like Grandma Gussie used to make (except better, cause she wasn't such a good cook). Starting with Brenda's home-made Chicken Soup with Matzah Balls. You've never had Matzah Balls so light and fluffy! Then, Brenda's incredibly delicious Latkes, served with Applesauce and Sour Cream of course. So good you'll want to fill up just on them, but don't, cause there's lots more to come. Next, the main course: Mark's world-famous (ok, maybe not "world famous", but famous amongst our friends) Brisket, with Grandma Gussie's secret ingredient (I can tell you, but then I'd have to kill you). Along with the Brisket is Mark's honey-glazed carrots. Yum! And finally, for dessert, Brenda's delicious and healthy (not) Cheesecake. You don't have to be Jewish to love this meal, but you do have to be UUish to bid on it. 1 0 .00075E7 75 9/6/21 12:00 PM

BUMP! in the night Mary Shelley wrote the classic, "Frankenstein" for a gathering of friends. It was a contest to see who could scare the others.

Which of you will receive the "Frankenstein Award" of 2021?

Gather with us, friends, on a night that will certainly scare you and leave you with that haunting feeling of dread.

Come to our home prepared with a spooky story to share. You can read it from a book or tell your own story, whether real or not.

We will provide nourishment that will shore up even the weariest of souls: a chili dinner with mulled wine. The winner will be voted upon later on in the evening... that is... if we make it until then...

You will be joining another four scary story lovers who already signed up during our November auction. We will socially distance indoors and masks will be worn if attendees are not vaccinated.

Mothers like grilling, too! Hey Mamas. We're not sure why the dads always get the day to grill, so we're stokin' up the coals for you in a gender bender sort of way!

If you're a mother, we want to celebrate you for the many tears you've dried that weren't your own, the messes you've cleaned up, and the many ways you continue to support your offspring.

So come on over, leave the kids at home, and spend a night letting us cook for you!

Dinner will be held outside. If weather is not conducive and COVID rates don't improve, we will either package meals "to-go" or space appropriately in time/distance.

You will be joining 2 other "Mamas" and their "Papas" who signed up for this event in November.

Cocktail and Appetizer Surprise. Cocktails and Appetizer Surprise!!!

What's the surprise you ask!

Well besides you bidding on this special event you don't know anything else. This event was offered to 35 people in November 2020. 29 of your favorite MUUF friends have already bought a seat...but there are 6 spots left!

The when, where, what and how is yet to be decided. If you have ever attended a Nina and Ken Nemeth service auction event you know that we try our best to make everyone happy.

We can tell you that there will be food, beverages and smiling faces. The event will promote the appropriate Covid safety protocols.

Yes I know you are taking a chance not knowing all the facts. What is the worst that could happen? You made a bid that ended up being a donation to the Fellowship or you can give your tickets to someone else. BOTH ARE STILL POSITIVE OUTCOMES.

So take a chance and be surprised!
